As sunny weather returns and McLaren Vale is transformed by the green budburst of the vines, we're hosting an Italian feast of seasonal dishes fired to life in our wood oven.

Our long tables will be filled with a seasonal menu prepared by La Dolce Vita Catering, and we'll be serving a flight of our new-release Primo Estate and JOSEPH wines.

We are bringing a taste of McLaren Vale to Fortitude Valley! 

Third generation producer Matteo Grilli will present the acclaimed JOSEPH Experience tasting. The JOSEPH Sparkling Red, Moda, Angel Gully and more will be poured alongside Italian cheese, crusty bread and the JOSEPH Extra Virgin Olive Oils. The Primo Estate wines will also be available for tasting.

Come down to say hello, taste the new wines and make a day of it. We can't wait to see you there.

The $20 tasting fee is fully refundable with any purchase from the JOSEPH range on the day.

The Primo team are coming to Brisbane to pour our Italy vs Australia taste-test alongside a selection of Fiamme Trattoria's delicious wood oven pizza. We'll present our two Shiraz Sangiovese wines: Il Briccone, grown and made in McLaren Vale, and The Tuscan, grown and made in Italy. Poured side by side, this unique comparative tasting allows you to vote for Italy or Australia; which will you prefer?

The Primo team are taking a trip into town; celebrating our 9th annual pizza night.

As Melt serves up a delicious selection of tapas, pizza and dessert, we will be pouring our brand new release: the 2017 Primo & Co 'The Tuscan' Shiraz Sangiovese - made and bottled by winemaker Joe Grilli in Italy. This spicy, savoury wine will be poured alongside 'Il Briccone', our McLaren Vale Shiraz Sangiovese. Guests will be asked to vote for their favourite in this Italy vs Australia showdown, and as dessert is served a winner will be announced!
