Pandoro Christmas Tree Cake
- 1 tub of Marscapone
- half cup of Thick Cream
- 1 cup of JOSEPH Fronti (or to taste)
- half cup of Icing Sugar (or to taste)
- 1 plain Pandoro
- Fruit of your choice (cherries, raspberries, currants etc)
- Nuts of your choice (pistachios, flaked almonds etc)
To create the mixture, combine the marscapone, thick cream, icing sugar, and 1/2 cup of JOSEPH Fronti in a bowl, and whip until the cream forms stiff peaks. Add extra icing sugar and Fronti to taste.
Slice the Pandoro horizontally as pictured, being careful not to damage the points of the 'star' shape.
Place the largest (bottom) slice onto your serving dish and brush the top of the slice with a thin layer of The Fronti. Then spread the marscapone mixture and then sprinkle the fruits and nuts of your choice.
Place the next largest slice on top so that the points of the star are staggered, as pictured.
Brush with the Fronti, spread the marscapone cream mixture, sprinkle fruit and nuts, and then repeat for each slice until you reach the top.
To garnish, add plenty of fresh fruit and nuts, and dust all over with icing sugar.
Serve with coffee and The JOSEPH Fronti - the taste of Christmas in a glass!
